Lead Pastor Robby Pollard

Pastor Robby joined the staff of Berean in May 2002 after serving in youth ministry at Pine Forest Baptist Church for 7 years.  He came to Berean with a vision for establishing a new young adults ministry.  He led the young adults ministry in becoming an established ministry in the church where a new generation of young leaders were growing and being discipled to become leaders within the church.

It was obvious early on in his time at Berean that God had brought him here for other reasons as well.  In June 2007 Berean voted to call him as Co-Pastor, and upon Pastor Hutson’s retirement on June 7, 2009, he became the Senior Pastor of Berean.

Pastor Robby's desire is to glorify God in all things and to change lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He is passionately committed to taking the Gospel to the world and expository preaching of the Word of God.

Robby graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Religion and plans to pursue his Master's Degree at Southwestern Theological Seminary.  Robby and Leslie were married on September 23, 2000.  They have two sons, Luke and Noah.  In his spare time he enjoys playing with his kids, golf, backpacking, reading and fishing.
