BEREAN BAPTIST MUSIC MINISTRY
At Berean, the music ministry has two distinct purposes: 1) to bring glory to God in every musical endeavor, whether it be with the choirs, the orchestra, the special music or the congregational music that is presented, and 2) to edify believers who attend the worship services of our church, preparing their hearts to receive the message from God's Word! There is a place of service in the music ministry for everyone at Berean. Whether you are a child or a senior adult, we encourage everyone who has a love for music to be a part of this vital ministry in our church. ADULT CHOIR MINISTRY
The choir ministry is for church members who are at least high school age and have not only a love for singing, but some musical ability to sing. You don't need to have a music degree to be a part of the centerpiece of Berean's music program, only a desire to serve the Lord in this area and the ability to faithfully meet for our scheduled rehearsals. The choir rehearses each Sunday morning at 9:00. Extra rehearsals may be called as special needs arise, such as preparations for an Easter or Christmas program.
ORCHESTRA MINISTRY
The orchestra ministry is for church members who are at least high school age and have musical ability to play an instrument. Reading music or chord charts are necessary in being a part of this important worship ministry. The orchestra meets to rehearse Sunday mornings from 8:00-9:00.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR MINISTRY
Here at Berean, we love to encourage our children to sing and use their musical talents for the Lord! We have a children's choir for any aged child - which also prepares them for being a part of the adult choir when they reach high school. The children's choirs present music throughout the year during worship services, and especially for special days, such as Easter and Christmas.
